An English-born lead and occasional support in features and television productions on both sides of the Atlantic, Hugh Dancy was an actor who specialized in romantic young men in features like “Ella Enchanted” (2004), “Elizabeth I” (Channel 4/HBO, 2005/2006) and “The Jane Austen Book Club” (2007).
