A TV producer and occasionally writer whose credits have included such efforts as "The Mod Squad", "Rich Man, Poor Man" and "A Woman Called Golda", Harve Bennett was handed the "Star Trek" franchise by Paramount and produced and co-wrote four of the feature films about the characters on the Starship Enterprise. Born Harve Fischman, he was one of radio's "The Quiz Kids" for five years during the 1940s and followed with a stint as a columnist for THE CHICAGO SUN-TIMES.
