Amiable, unassuming leading man who also runs the New York-based production company Double Play with partner Amy Robinson. Dunne made his screen debut in a bit part in "The Other Side of the Mountain" (1974) based on the life of injured Olympic ski hopeful Jill Kinmont. His next screen appearance came five years later in "Chilly Scenes of Winter/Head Over Heels" (1979) adopted from the Ann Beattie novel, a project which he co-produced with his first company, Triple Play Productions, and was directed by Joan Micklin Silver.
