biography
American character actor best known as the neurotic, hypochondriac young producer Miles Silverberg on TV's "Murphy Brown". Shaud started his career working on the New York stage in "Today I Am a Fountain Pen" (1986) by Israel Horovitz and Harvey Fierstein's "Torch Song Trilogy". He made his TV debut with a guest appearance on "Kate and Allie". Shaud's feature credits include "Wall Street" (1987), "The January Man" (1988) and "The Distinguished Gentleman" (1992). He was then cast as an original ensemble member of Diane English's hit series "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-96), a show that allows Shaud to display both his physical and verbal comedic talents.
