American character actor best known as the neurotic, hypochondriac young producer Miles Silverberg on TV's "Murphy Brown". Shaud started his career working on the New York stage in "Today I Am a Fountain Pen" (1986) by Israel Horovitz and Harvey Fierstein's "Torch Song Trilogy". He made his TV debut with a guest appearance on "Kate and Allie". Shaud's feature credits include "Wall Street" (1987), "The January Man" (1988) and "The Distinguished Gentleman" (1992).
