Best known for his deft, multifaceted portrayal of the ambitious mortician Frederico Diaz in the dysfunctional family drama "Six Feet Under" (HBO, 2001-2005), Freddy Rodriguez excelled at playing believable Everyman characters, whether they were written as Latinos or not. Rodriguez had always dreamed of being an actor. His dreams became a reality when the theater trained actor starred in the pilot production of Chicago's Whirlwind Performance Company, a theater company composed of youths at risk.
