Married German director Percy Adlon at age nineteen, produced his TV film "The Guardian and His Poet" in 1978 and has since either produced or written all of her husband's major films ("Celeste" 1981, "Sugarbaby" 1985, "Bagdad Cafe" 1987 and "Rosalie Goes Shopping" 1989).
