New York native Eddie Kaye Thomas began acting at age seven, and by age 17 had already appeared on Broadway in both John Guare's "Four Baboons Adoring the Sun" (1992) and the 1997-98 revisionist version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" starring Natalie Portman.
