Coolly elegant leading lady who graced several important international productions of the 1960s and 70s. Seyrig first came to prominence in Alain Resnais' stylish, labyrinthine "Last Year at Marienbad" (1961) and won a best actress award at Venice for her role in his "Muriel" (1963).
