His boyishly handsome features aside, screenwriting wunderkind Dan Harris was still easy to envy. Not only has he co-written installments of two major film series – the X-Men and Superman – he also wrote and directed a small, intensely personal film as well – all of this by the age of 25.

Born Aug. 29, 1979, Harris was raised in the small town of Kingston, PA. He loved movies as a child, but never took seriously the idea of working in film because it seemed so impossible. After high school, he enrolled at Columbia University, with aspirations of becoming an artist, photographer or a writer. But
