Corey Allen is perhaps best remembered as James Dean's racing rival in "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955). His subsequent film credits were in mostly forgettable fare (e.g., "Juvenile Jungle" 1958; "Key Witness" 1960). His last two features as an actor were "Sweet Bird of Youth" and George Cukor's "The Chapman Report" (both 1962). In 1970, Allen segued to directing helming (and co-scripting) "Pinocchio/The Erotic Adventures of Pinocchio". Other big screen features include "Thunder and Lightening" (1977) and "Avalanche" (1978).
