Dark blond, athletic, Alabama native Clayne Crawford initially moved west not to pursue an acting career but to play baseball for UCLA. When a knee injury ended his hopes, he took up construction work and later decided to give acting a try after noting how well-paid his pals were for their seemingly effortless appearances in commercials.
