Country music artist Chuck Wicks was born on June 20, 1979 in Smyrna, DE, where he was raised on a potato farm. He moved to Nashville, TN after leaving college to pursue a music career, which began when one of his songs, “Lead Me On,” was recorded by Steve Holy and released on his album Brand New Girlfriend (2006). Wicks soon attracted the attention of executives at RCA Records, who signed him to a recording contract in 2007.
