biography

In partnership with Jane Fonda, Bruce Gilbert produced or executive produced many of the actress' films from the mid-70s to the mid-80s, including "Coming Home" (1978), "The China Syndrome" (1979), "9 to 5" (1980), "On Golden Pond" (1981) and "The Morning After" (1986). Since 1980, he has been president of American Filmworks. Gilbert produced "Jack the Bear" in 1993.
