Matt Lauer may have lost the US Airways hero pilot interview to former co-anchor Katie Couric, but he's rebounding nicely with an even bigger "get": President Barack's Obama's first televised sit-down since moving into The White House.

The interview will air live from the Obamas' new home on Super Bowl Sunday before the game. More of the interview will air the next day on NBC's Today.

NBC Super Bowl coverage begins at noon EST on Feb. 1. Lauer will get an hour with the Obamas before kick-off, but he's reportedly been told already that he will *not* be watching the game with the Obamas. Wonder who the commander-in-chief is rooting for?
