In a stunning upset (?!), Barack Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize. (We'll file this under celebrity news and feel confident that John McCain would support us.)
In a press conference this morning, Obama said he felt he hadn't done enough to deserve the honor, which frankly is probably what the rest of the world is thinking, too.
The award committee announced Obama's selection in Oslo, stating the U.S. President had "created a new international climate."
Obama said he woke this morning to the news from his daughters, who also pointed out that it's the family dog's birthday. "So it's good to have kids to keep things in perspective," he said.
Obama is the third sitting U.S. President to win the award.
