A darkly beauteous Mediterranean actress who has performed in films primarily in France, Italy and Spain, Galiena is fluent in four languages and has also appeared onstage in Paris and Washington, DC. She began appearing in films in the mid-1980s, though the dreadful US-Italian adventure "Hotel Colonial" (1986) did not help her career much.
