For the record, I was Team Aniston all the way. But since all’s fair in fashion, we’re giving the ladies a chance to really duke it out. In recent history, Angelina Jolie has become a red carpet fashion maven. Favoring Atelier Versace and Max Azria -- even causing a splash by wearing that royal blue Azria gown backwards at the 2009 SAG Awards -- she almost always wears classic cuts in solid colors. Who could forget her look for this year’s Oscars? The Elie Saab deep sweetheart, perfectly draped black gown was perfected with a jolt of color from her bright green earrings. Oh, and she gets to accessorize with Brad Pitt. Jennifer Aniston also does red carpet right, whether in Valentino, Armani, or Burberry. She has mastered the use of neutral colors. With flattering scoop and halter necklines, the yoga lover always shows off her toned shoulders and arms, not to mention her perfectly bronzed skin. CASUAL
Angelina is a busy mom, that’s for certain, but her style doesn’t suffer. For days on the town with all the kids in tow, she prefers maxi-dresses, long loose hair, and of course, giant sunglasses that scream “I'm a movie star.” She keeps it simple and wears almost exclusively black and gray. Jennifer is a jeans and t-shirt girl all the way. She loves pairing perfectly-fit jeans with classic shirts and oxfords. Simple accessories, like a well-wrapped scarf or a great bag always complete her all-American girl look. Her California style even goes to the beach with bright-colored, fun bikinis, and sometimes even a cute straw hat. We love a beach bunny, but Angelina’s simple sophistication wins us over. She typically favors wearing her long dark tresses in loose curls, but for serious fashion events she mixes it up with classic updos, bouffants, and voluminous curls. Whether it was causing a layering craze with her '90s-era Friends cut, which then lead to the long bob craze, her locks have always been just about perfect. I’m sure she causes thousands of women to print her picture from the Internet each day and tell their colorists that they want Jennifer’s sun-kissed highlights.

Angelina chooses to play up her coloring through her cosmetic choices. We’ve seen her gorgeous pale skin accented with thick eyeliner and hot red on her trademark lips, as well as a more subtle nude lip for this year’s Oscars. And lest we forget, she’s got the body ink to keep her firmly ingrained in the “tough chick” category. Jennifer’s gorgeous makeup is helped in a big way by her gorgeous, sun-tanned skin. She seems to use a sweep of mascara, a sweep of lip gloss, and a sweep of bronzer and walk out the door. Nothing like a simple makeup routine to make women around the world envious.
