Is Hollywood's most famous couple breaking up?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are refuting a report in the National Enquirer that they are about to officially announce their separation. Says his rep: "Absolutely not true." Says her rep: "Not true at all."

It's not the first time the couple has been besieged with split rumors (see: In Touch, Star and Life & Style magazines), but it is the first time that Pitt and Jolie have bothered to respond. While Pitt and Jolie canoodled publicly all over Cannes last month, that doesn't necessarily mean their union is solid. Remember the affectionate photos of Pitt and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in Antigua shortly before they officially split in January 2005?

Meantime, Jolie -- who just turned 34 -- has been named the most powerful celebrity in show biz by Forbes magazine. She knocked reigning queen Oprah Winfrey out of the top spot.
