biography
Alan Marshall began his career as an assistant film editor on documentaries in his native London. In 1970, he and director Alan Parker co-founded The Alan Parker Film Company. Beginning with 1976's "Bugsy Malone", Marshall served as producer on Parker's films including "Midnight Express" (1978), "Fame" (1980), "Shoot the Moon" (1981) and "Birdy" (1984). Since the late 80s, he has also been affiliated with Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna, overseeing such efforts as "Jacob's Ladder" (1990) and "Cliffhanger" (1993).
